It gives a rough range from age, make, mileage and condition only. It is not an appraisal and does not use live sales data. Real prices vary with engine, spec, service history and location, so compare with similar trucks for sale.
Does the estimate use today's date?
Yes. The truck's age is worked out from the current year, so the estimate drops as the truck gets older.
What affects a semi truck's value most?
Age and mileage matter most, followed by condition, engine and maintenance records. Brands such as Kenworth and Peterbilt usually hold value better than others.
Is my information stored?
No. The calculation runs in your browser and nothing is sent to us.
